Hiking

On the old border there are many old boundary stones, some from the 16th century. There is a beautiful path on each side. One in the forest and one outside on the southern edge of the forest. The explanation of the border can be found on the Büchenbronn tower. komoot.de/highlight/70422. Enjoy! :-)

Hiking

These boundary stones were initially municipal boundaries between Büchenbronn and Engelsbrand and in the period after 1806 even formed the former state border between the Grand Duchy of Baden and the Kingdom of Württemberg. They only lost their status as state landmarks again with the establishment of the state of Baden-Württemberg. Since then, they have been common parish boundary stones again, after the incorporation of Büchenbronn today between the city of Pforzheim and the municipality of Engelsbrand.

Hiking

A very nice hiking trail leads up to the Büchenbronner height with a lookout tower. There are old boundary stones along the way, some of which were set 500 years ago.
