The Great Eiswerder Bridge is the western connection from the Spandau mainland to the island of Eiswerder. It was built in 1901-1903 under the direction of garrison building inspector Richter and government builder Neubert.

Across the bridge you come to the small island of Eiswerder. There are a few lovely cycle paths that you can use to explore the small area. The parks are a great place to take a break. Or you can take a look at the old halls on the island, where some artists are happy to let you look over their shoulders.
