Hiking

In Schmilka you can easily take the ferry to the other side of the Elbe. It only takes a few minutes with the small boat and your walk can continue. A crossing costs 1.50 € for adults and 1.00 € for children. Round trip costs together 0,50 € each more.

The ferry "Lena" is approaching 100 years old. This and the beautiful view of the Elbe make the crossing an experience. The ferry runs as needed, meaning waiting times are only a few minutes. In the summer months, the ferry runs until late in the evening.
