Hiking
The Herzhausen refuge is another gem among the huts in the "hinterland" with a great view at a height of around 400 metres.

Hiking
If you climb the Lahn-Dill-Berglandpfad from the direction of Gladenbach to the refuge, you will pass a wooden lounger with a very nice view just before the refuge, which invites you to rest. The Lahn-Dill-Berglandpfad itself leads above the refuge and not directly past it, so a rest on the lounger is a good idea.
