"The Pieve della Cappella or Pieve di San Martino is located in Azzano, which belongs to the municipality of Seravezza, in a remarkably scenic position, with a unique view over the old marble quarries and Monte Altissimo on one side and the sea on the other Side offers.
The completely marble church was built before the year 1000 and was remodeled in the 12th century. The campanile that rises in front of the facade goes back to the time before the 11th century. "(Source: visittuscany.com/de/attraktionen/die-pfarrkirche-san-martino-alla-cappella -in-seravezza /)
