The Alte Hof Apotheke is located in the middle of the Tölz pedestrian zone. A plaque on the house wall points out the long history of the house and the pharmacy. The old monastery pharmacy in Benediktbeuern was moved to Tölz on the occasion of secularization in 1804 and continued to operate here as the regional court pharmacy and later as the Grand Ducal Luxembourg Court Pharmacy. It was the first pharmacy in the Isarwinkel.

Bad Tölz's Marktstraße is a wide, car-free zone. Numerous good restaurants and small and large shops line the streets. After a day of touring, Bad Tölz is also a meeting point for many cyclists and hikers.
