Hiking

The Untere Herbringhauser Dam was a small dam in the urban area of Wuppertal. It lay south of Langerfeld on the Herbringhauser Bach, just before it flows into the Wupper. It was below the slightly larger Obere Herbringhauser Dam. In 2006, due to concerns about its city stability, it was partially canceled. In the old pump house there is now a restaurant where you can strengthen yourself after a hike. The pump house is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
