The landmark of the district Lahausen, the "Lahauser Spieker", was built in 1880 in half-timbered style. Spieker is the Low German term for memory. It stands directly on the Lahauser road between the districts Lahausen and Jeebel. The monument was restored by the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Lahauser Ortsvereine" from 1987 to 1990. Members of the "Lahauser Bühne" subsequently expanded the interiors and since 1993 the club meeting point and rehearsal room of the "Lahauser Bühne" can be found here.
