Between Giebelhaus and Hinterstein there is a gorge in the Ostrachtal, which was named after the minimum ore deposits that were previously mined there.
The Eisenbreche offers a true natural spectacle: over 85 m deep, the wild Ostrach has dug into the rock here. A first impression of the rushing waterfall can be found on the bridge just before the power station, before a little later, on the right, a viewpoint grants further views into the wooded gorge.

Cycling
A few meters below Giebelstrasse is this viewpoint into the ravine. It's 85 m deep. Secured with a railing, of course. However, exercise some caution.
