Bremen Central Station was built in 1889 and is now used by 120,000 travelers and visitors every day. Located northeast of the city center, it is an important hub for regional, national and international long-distance traffic. Around 100 long-distance trains and 410 local trains run on nine platforms every day. In addition, around 30 shops are open inside the station every day of the year.
