    Hiking

Rocky Ridge Trail boasts scenic views of Bollinger Canyon and the Oakland Hills, making it easy to understand why it is one of the most popular destinations for a loop hike in the park. The rolling scenery makes you forget that you are so close to the towns of Danville and San Ramon. Patches of white rock along the route are actually clumps of shell fossils, a reminder that this beautiful area was once below sea level.
