Not very nice, but very welcome for a rest on the large Märzenbecherrundweg. Beer benches in the sunshine are ready for a small snack, a piece of cake or a cool sip.

This original mill is relatively young compared to many mills in Saxon Switzerland (first mentioned in 1795) and started with a serious design flaw. The mill should be operated by the water of the village stream instead of the water-rich Polenz.

The disc mill is an ideal starting point for a hike through the idyllic Polenztal. Especially when the spring beetroot blooms.
A bit rustic, but a small snack is offered.
