The Gänseliesel fountain was built in 1911 as a friendly, grateful and permanent memorial to the manor owner Ferdinand Haussmann. The fountain basin is octagonal and is made of sandstone. In the center of the fountain basin is a pillar decorated with 3 spear figures. At the top of the column is a bronze goose girl (popularly called Gänseliesl) plucking a goose. This fountain figure was created by the young sculptor Max Dittert. Kreischa was the first to receive this actually urban ornamental fountain as a market fountain.
