Viewpoint at 1,095 meters offers an unobstructed view of the picturesque village of Curral das Freiras. Very nice hike from below from the Nonnental. It's best to visit early in the morning - it's still quiet and visibility is usually good.

From this rest area, a small path leads directly to a viewing platform, from which man the whole valley has a good view. I recommend it shortly after noon, since you have the best light here. the valley itself sees the sun only a few hours a day, as the surrounding mountains are so high.
