Cycling

Bridleway leavingg West Scrafton by Bow Bridge looks promising at first, and gains height pleasantly via Great Bank, but at the top by the boundary fence, the way disappears, and you're either bog-hopping to follow it down the other side, or (as we did) going off-piste to Great Haw to the south to pick up a shooting track beyond.

It is indeed a promising track. When I did it, there were several heavy digging machines near the top (not working today!). One has been working on an unmarked (on the Komoot map) track heading NE. It was a pleasant grassy/gravel infill route which passed through a gate, then became a very nice track leading to the shooting hut and rocks of Gt Roova Crag. A great track then descends back to Coverdale.
