Hiking

The lake is about 2 km north-east of the town of Nortorf, in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district, on the south-western edge of the Westensee Nature Park. Its water surface is approximately 50 ha, the water depth is over 8 m.

There are several bathing areas at Borgdorfer See, e.g. B. the bathing establishment in Seedorf.
