Fritzlar is a beautiful town with a medieval old town, which is largely still enclosed by the almost three-kilometer-long city wall. Even some of the defensive towers are still preserved, such as the "Graue Turm" (Grey Tower), from which you can enjoy a fantastic view of the town. You will be impressed when you roll through the town.

A visit to the old town of Fritzlar is like traveling back in time to the Middle Ages. The half-timbered ensemble in the center of the village is a popular photo opportunity. Some of the most beautiful and oldest half-timbered houses far and wide can be found here.
