If you come from Schneeberg and want to go to Decin, you are on the road in the forest on a paved road for a good 5.5 km and downhill quickly. Opinions can differ about asphalt in the forest, but the federal road is definitely not preferable! Unfortunately, the beautiful views are now overgrown.
