Hiking

To get there, you follow a long drive lined with century-old lime trees. Rebuilt in the 19th century on the foundations of an old medieval keep, the Tour Saint-Martin is located on a rocky promontory overlooking the village of Comblain-au-Pont and the Ourthe valley.

The exact date of the tower's construction is not really known. The first document mentioning a date is a collection of charters from the Abbey of Stavelot-Malmédy, which shows that on March 12, 1228, Countess Ermesinde, a native of Luxembourg, undertook to return the fortress of Logne and the fortified house of Comblain to the abbey.
