Inter-denominational chapel, built 1973
Between Pioneer and Markleeville in Alpine County, the only church is the Silver Lake Chapel which offers both Protestant (rotating from various churches in Amador and San Joaquin counties, including Methodist, Baptist, Calvary, and Lutheran) at 10am and Catholic services (12 noon) during the summer.
