Beautiful park area
The mother tower is located in Landsberg am Lech in Bavaria (Germany) in a small park on the west bank of the river Lech.
It was built by the painter, sculptor, musician, writer and pioneer of automobile racing in Germany, Sir Hubert von Herkomer (1849-1914) in honor of his mother, after his parents had moved to Landsberg (near her) from England in 1877 at his mother's request hometowns Waal and Denklingen) had withdrawn and the mother had already died by Christmas 1879.
