Mountain biking

The main square of Wiener Neustadt, with its impressive, almost square shape and historic townhouses, is one of Austria's largest and most beautiful squares. In the center of this historic area stands the baroque Mariensäule (Mary's Column), which was erected in 1718 as thanks for surviving plague epidemics and Turkish sieges. To this day, this ensemble, worthy of preservation, forms the vibrant heart of the city center and serves as a popular venue for numerous festivals and markets.
