Today the castle houses the Pfullingen Music School and the castle kindergarten in the former castle chapel. The Wilhelm-Hauff-Realschule also uses some of the building's rooms as classrooms. The Pfullingen Castle School is right next to the castle; the castle courtyard still belongs to the school grounds.
