Mill site first mentioned in 1255; the present mill building was built around 1850 and renovated in the 1990s, commercial use until 1958, until 1976 privately used for shredding; internal gear technology, stone length, cleaning and sighting machines still available, since 2009 imposing water wheel (6.50 m diameter, 3.80 m wide) for e-energy production from hydroelectric power of the Unstrut; small water wheel intended for mill tribute.
