Visitors to Estorf can discover a unique gem in terms of architectural history: a barn quarter in an old oak grove that arose after the Thirty Years' War. Of the more than forty storage barns originally built - hidden outside the village to protect against plundering hordes and frequent fires - seven have been extensively restored and today house a local history museum with various exhibitions. In the middle of this historic ambience is the so-called "Radler-Scheune", where groups - by prior arrangement - can set up a rustic night's camp.
