Very nice observation tower with a great view over the heath, it is worthwhile to linger a bit here. Nice rest area with shelter hut.

The Flaestoren is located on a fine gravel path around the fens of the Landschotsche Heide. At first I thought that Thijs van Leer was whistling in the tower, but it turned out to be the open galvanized tubes of the balustrade that give a free concert from roughly wind force three. nice spot for a snack and to enjoy the view.
