Nice to drive, wide dedicated lanes for cyclists and pedestrians, trees provide shade, cooling lake in the middle. But be careful when planning, the cycle path can only be used anti-clockwise.

Cycling
Prospect Park in NYC is an easy and gentle place to ride. This historic park was designed by the same designers of Central Park. It is home to rare trees and is a stop-off point for migratory birds. I have seen rare birds here that shouldn't have been here. I've also experienced a great deal of kindness and sharing among bird watchers in this location.
