Hiking

This memorial consists of 102,000 upright stones, commemorating the 102,000 Jews, Roma, Sinti and resistance fighters who were deported from the camp and did not return.

Other activities

On the site of the former deportation camp in Westerbrok, 102,000 stones have been erected to commemorate the people, mainly Jews, who were deported to the extermination camps in Poland and other countries during the Third Reich. It is very depressing to see this mass of stones and to realize their fate.
