Spunky Edison road is a shortcut /bailout option, shaving about 4 to 5 miles to the nearest paved road to hitchhike into Green Valley. This can be useful in emergencies or if faster arrival at accommodation or post office is the objective. Phone signal is spotty here, but improves when getting closer to the road.
