Tenean Beach is more than just a swimming destination. A playground and tennis and basketball courts offer plenty of fun.

This small clean sandy beach offers you like a cherry on a cake, a view of Boston. This place allows you to take a break when you take the Neponset bike path.

A little out of the way beach, which is perhaps what makes it so attractive. Clean, with a nice view of the city.

This is strictly just a spot you pass through on the bike path. I don't think anyone would actually swim there. Historically this beach was much bigger and more popular but the highway cut it down in size. As of 2021 there is a possible plan to extent a boardwalk up to Victory road park which itself has an interesting history of made land.

This route covers 19.4 miles (31.2 km) with a gentle elevation gain of 258 feet (79 metres), taking about 1 hour and 49 minutes to complete. You will pedal past the vibrant murals along the Neponset River Greenway, then transition to the expansive views of Dorchester Bay and Boston Harbor, passing landmarks like Tenean Beach and the Harvest River Bridge.

It's a great way to experience both the tranquil marshes and urban wild of the Neponset River Reservation and the bustling waterfront views of the harbor, providing a varied and engaging touring bicycle experience.
