Gravel was baked here in the 1990s for the construction of the marshalling yard.
"The lake is part of the Allacher Forest together with the Angerlohe as a fauna-flora-habitat area (FFH area no. 7734-302) and is located in the Allacher Lohe nature reserve (NSG-00573.01, WDPA ID: 318087). Bathing is prohibited in the lake in order to ensure undisturbed development of the shore areas and the shallow water areas that are important for amphibians and for ground-nesting water-loving bird species.[2] The lake is part of Munich's green belt.”
