Set amongst stunning landscaped gardens, Sizergh Castle transports you back in time. The Strickland family has lived in the beautiful medieval house for over 750 years. Family portraits and possessions in the house tell the interesting tale of the family. Dating back to the 14th century, the house is one of the finest examples of Elizabethan architecture.
The house and gardens are managed by the National Trust. You can visit from 10am - 4pm daily. Tickets for adults cost £4. More information: nationaltrust.org.uk/sizergh#Overview

A very nice facility, as well as the many castles and gardens. The entry is also here for German conditions quite expensive - 13 pounds.
