Hiking

A settlement in the Harz Mountains that is more than 1000 years old. It gained importance through the mining of iron ores on the Mittelberg and their smelting.
Today the Eggeröder Brunnen is a remote holiday home settlement and without the stamp office at the Volkmarskeller hardly anyone would stray here.

from here you can find many great paths, e.g. to the Galgenberg, to Hüttenrode, to the Volkmarskeller, to the umbrella spruce and and and ;-)
