Lovely little stop for a picnic or a brew; right next to the bridge (which we're assured is a great wild swimming spot, perhaps not in January)! There's a little bench and you can choose gravel or road paths around the reservoir from here.

The bridge was moved, block by block to its current position prior to the construction of the reservoirs.
Located at Slippery Stones - the name sounds like a warning (and perhaps it is!) but this is the official name for this lovely, picturesque plunge pool / wild swimming spot.
