Presumably a breeding ground for the "mosquito beasts" in summer!
You then cross the water with two bridges and can continue the circular route.
We stumbled upon the term “intensive water”. I have found an explanation: “Intensive waters - fishery production waters, in which high fish yields are achieved through a high stock of fish and the use of feed. Fishing is not permitted on. A distinction is made between intensive carp and fine fish lakes and ponds with intensive pellet management. "
