The Uhlenköper Camp Uelzen is one of the most ecologically committed campsites in Europe. The motivation for this is clear: to be able to experience nature unspoiled. To live up to this vision, the camp offers products from regional and organic farming in its organic shop and restaurant, saves electricity with energy-saving lamps and motion detectors, uses exclusively green electricity, utilizes renewable energy and solar systems, saves water with flow restrictors, offers its own recycling center, maintains the flora in a natural way without chemical agents, designs the guided canoe tours with an environmental education focus, and much more.
