Wonderful resting place on the Elbe, great for sunsets!

I travel a lot for work and pleasure and am therefore a bit demanding. But the "Goldene Anker" exceeds all expectations - by far the best hotel I have stayed in in recent years! Extremely courteous and helpful staff, without exception - whether at the reception or in the breakfast room, with a tendency towards perfection.

Beautiful church with historical information. You can go up the tower for a voluntary donation, which we also did. It's really worth it. Super, the 3 bells and the view.

The sunsets on the Elbe are always great. You can occasionally see bats, hear birds, and enjoy the cool evening air +peace. You can always take great pictures. At the Terassenufer, you also get the Dresden skyline as a souvenir or just for yourself. Evening walks are worthwhile along the Elbe, and you can sometimes listen to concerts.

Additionally, you have good connections to the city; you can get to the city center with lines 1, 12, and 68. In the direction of the city, along the Elbe Cycle Route, you can get from the Flügelwegbrücke to Alberthafen, where you can stay overnight and get very delicious food. Further in the direction of the city, you reach the Flutrinne, which is known in Dresden for its concerts and other events. At the Flutrinne, there is also the Messe Dresden, and further in the direction of the city, there are many different sports opportunities.
