It's always great there. As well as birds, geese and ducks, with a bit of luck and at the right time you can also see deer and wild boar. Today I saw a marten there for the first time, which was being attacked by crows.

Chic marina on the Saar, opposite Merzig. Here you can also take a break and have a bite to eat in the beer garden, or just look at the boats - or explore the high ropes course. The harbor, however, interrupts the cycle path along the Saar and must be bypassed. Caution is advised here, as there are lots of people milling around on weekends and when the weather is nice.
