Nice rest stop at the cross with a great view.

This cross is called the “Second Cross” by the Wittgerten people. It is estimated to be 150 years old and was erected by miners. The cross was restored by the Wittgert community a few years ago. Unfortunately, the two fir trees to the right and left of the cross have now been felled. From the bench you have a beautiful view of the “Haiderbach” communities.

Here, too, conifers have suffered on a large scale. Otherwise a very nice path - you can see that nature can still be nature here. Idyllic.

In the meantime, unfortunately, deforestation has also taken place here.
