The Cultural Summer (KuSo) in Germersheim is a music festival that has been established for years and has made a name for itself far beyond the city limits and the region thanks to its diverse and sophisticated program. The KuSo program offers spatial sound cult paths through the battlements of the fortress, the so-called Walks, with their various art stations, artists and performances, as well as social festivals in a unique atmosphere, impressive vocal performances and choral works as well as instrumental and orchestral concerts or improvised and contemporary art. The spectrum is broad and has something for every culture lover and taste in art. The special location of the festival is also very unmistakable, namely the old walls in the former fortress near the municipal music school and music academy. The excellent acoustics of the arched courtyard in the Fronte Beckers Hufeisen cultural center and the Mediterranean flair of the historic building ensemble make every event a very special occasion. Every year, the Germersheim Cultural Summer is based on the state motto of the Rhineland-Palatinate Cultural Summer initiative, which also financially supports the Germersheim Cultural Summer. Thanks to this support, it has now become a permanent and popular fixture in the cultural life of the city and region. https://www.forte-cultura.eu/de/eventkalender/festungssommer-events/kultursommer-im-kulturzentrum-hufeisen-germersheim
