There is an information board next to the cross: Protected cultural monument Grave cross for a Hungarian Captain, killed November 14, 1795 in a battle between the Imperial Austrian troops and the French revolutionary troops. Say: During a skirmish, a high-ranking officer was fatally hit here with his horse in enemy fire. Both would have found their last resting place under the cross.
