The Neutor Tower is the last remaining part of the outer gatehouse of the northern city gate. Only the two lower floors are still original (white section). In 1907 another storey with a roof and a weather vane was added to it. In addition to the section of the city wall near the churches, it is the last remaining remnant of the medieval city fortifications that is visible and accessible.
