This is a very sensible use of an old train station, tourist information, exhibition, and café. Beautiful railway cycle path V91.

Railway line cycle path V91; the path at the intersection could be wider. Campsites along the riverbank.

A few meters near the bridge the cycle path is dangerously narrow.

Perched on its hill, and overlooking the Dordogne river, the Château de Fénelon does not go unnoticed, the climb is worth the detour 😉.

The Château Le Paluel was built in the 15th century. Even though it is now just a ruin, the mighty building dominates the landscape near Saint-Vincent-le-Paluel in the Périgord Noir. It is located on a promontory in the valley of Sainte-Nathalène overlooking the Énéa stream, two kilometers downstream of the village, and was added to the list of historical monuments in 1927. Today it can be visited. There is also a small kiosk on site that offers refreshments in season. A detour from the hike to the château is worthwhile. The current opening times can be found on Google Maps.
