The remains of this Roman villa were excavated by the Trier State Museum in 1976. It was probably the home of a farmer or winemaker. Interestingly, a statue of the Celtic god Sucellus was found here, although unlike the usual Celts, it was depicted with grapes.

The Moselle Valley Bridge is the federal highway crossing over the Moselle River, connecting the Hunsrück and Eifel mountains. The highway bridge is located between the municipalities of Dieblich and Winningen. With a span of 192 meters, it was the prestressed concrete girder bridge with the second-longest span in Germany after the Bendorf Rhine Bridge when it was commissioned. Until 2003, no other bridge of this type with a longer span was put into operation. Source: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moseltalbr%C3%BCcke_(A_1)
