The ride with the e-bike through the Weltersbachtal is very beautiful but the route is a bit bumpy in places.

Chestnut trees line the path, and a fountain enlivens the pond next to the Wupper.

The Lothar Thieves Soldier's Grave is a moving war grave in Solingen-Höhrath. Lothar Thieves was a young German soldier who tragically died in the final days of World War II. He was only 16 years old when he was wounded in battle and left behind by his comrades. Local residents found him and tried to bring him to safety, but unfortunately he succumbed to his injuries. His mother later asked that his grave be preserved as a memorial rather than being transferred to a mass grave to honor the memory of her son. The grave serves as a memorial to the senseless loss of young lives in war. Source: KI
