The lake circuit is a nature circuit. So lots of forest floor, which is occasionally repaired. Whoever wants to ride on asphalt on the north-south route, I recommend Neubrandenburg-Penzlin-Neustrelitz.

Now in spring, wood anemones are blooming everywhere. The water in the lake is clear and there are some swimming spots.

The memorial stone below the observation tower commemorates the first men's choir of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, "Arion" (Arion = mythical singer of antiquity), founded in 1829. The choir often met on the small platform at the edge of Behmshöhe for singing events and folk festivals. On the occasion of the choir's 100th anniversary, this boulder from the Fünfeichen field was ceremoniously erected here. The inscription reads: Arion 1829 - 1929 Free in song, always German and faithful. November 29, 1929

The nuns' mill near Usadel was first mentioned in 1290 in connection with the founding of the Wanzka monastery. In the 16th century, it was documented as the "maiden or nuns' mill," and by 1523 it was already grinding around 480 bushels of rye for the monastery. In 1744, master miller Martin Zahl took over the mill, and his family ran it until around 1821. Originally operated as a simple water mill with one grinding gear, an oil mill was added in 1817. From the 1820s onward, the Prütz family and later their heirs leased the mill, before the mill became part of the Usadel estate in the mid-19th century. After 1945, it was converted into a small hydroelectric power station with an output of around 11 kW, but operations ceased in the 1950s. Today, all that remains of the building are the mill grounds and a large fieldstone barn; The mill pond has disappeared; in its place there is now a fish ladder along the Nonnenbach stream.
