Great route for gravel cycling, much better than the big road

another interesting choice from whoever created the national bike touring routes... very little traffic, twisty and hilly, gravel throughout and all the way to route 14, plenty of loose gravel and washboard sections, I did get through with 25mm tyres and 39x26 low gear just fine but I think next time I’d rather endure the traffic on the highway instead

almost 60 km of endless forest with the odd house here and there and little else, little traffic and generally okay-ish asphalt, at least the terrain is variable (though not too hilly, gets a lot hillier just east of here) and in general this is much nicer than the main roads (routes 6 and 14) but just keep in mind that there are no services en route
