St. Ewald's Church in Bodstedt is a former pilgrimage chapel in the Bodstedt district of the Western Pomeranian municipality of Fuhlendorf. St. Ewald's Church in Bodstedt is a brick church built in the 15th century and originally served as a pilgrimage chapel. It is one of the oldest churches in the region and a blend of North German Brick Gothic and Baroque church art. A later addition from 1785 adds a round-arch window to the western part of the church. Beautiful view of the cranes' nighttime resting places. All the crane watchers were already on duty at seven in the morning, and also at dusk in the evening.

Currently, restoration work is being carried out on the walls using scaffolding. It hardly interferes with the tour.
