In Harlingen, a district of Hitzacker, you can visit perhaps the smallest roundabout in the world. Created many years ago because there were plans for residential development north of Dorfstrasse. That didn't work out. And so he is just there. The roundabout, useless, lost in a wide corridor. It's like the bridges that stand around in the landscape because the road that is supposed to lead over the bridge was not built after all.

Pommoissel is a part of the community of Nahrendorf in the district of Lüneburg in Lower Saxony. The village is located 3 km southeast of the core area of Nahrendorf on the northern edge of the Göhrde, which, with 75 km², is the largest contiguous mixed forest area in northern Germany. Pussade is a district of the town of Hitzacker (Elbe) in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony. The place is 2 km west of the core area of Hitzacker. The Harlinger Bach flows on the northern outskirts and flows into the Hitzacker See in Hitzacker. Before 1972 Pussade belonged together with the forester's house Posade to the municipality of Harlingen. On July 1, 1972, the municipality of Harlingen was incorporated into Hitzacker together with the municipalities of Bahrendorf, Grabau, Kähmen, Nienwedel, Seerau, Tießau, Wietzetze and Wussegel.
