Despite the mixed weather, we still really enjoyed the boulevard of Vlissingen.

Wind Organ The wind organ stands on a bunker on the Nolledijk and is unique in the Netherlands. There are only three such wind organs in Europe. It is made of bamboo, and the wind creates different tones on the bamboo stalks, similar to an organ. Today, the third wind organ stands on this site. If you're in Vlissingen, the trip is definitely worth it. A windy day isn't bad. The first wind organ on this site was built in the summer of 1975 and destroyed by a storm in 1976. A new wind organ was built in November 1976, but was destroyed by vandalism in April 1981. The current version of the wind organ was installed in June 1983.
